I Thessalonians 3:12, 13 – And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.
Too often we are stuck in situations because of an unwillingness to let go of the familiar; even when the familiar is degrading and sucking life out of us! Satan knows that he cannot affect our gift unless he can afflict the vessel. So, he uses people, places and things to reel us into a life of useless activities or a sedentary posture that makes our life seem a waste!
God has made us to increase and abound, not remain ineffective and routine. There are people without a vision or purpose trying to speak into your life. You have to let them go!
There are hurtful places in your past still calling out to you. You have to let it go! There may have been horrible things done to you, but you have to let them go! Abram had to let go of Lot before he could become Abraham, the father of many nations. Naomi had to let go of three deaths and one daughter-in-law before she could become a guide for Ruth, a great grandmother of a king.
Remember, God designed that situation to humble us, not to humiliate us. So, learn your lesson, give God praise and let it go!
