Thought of the Day – Preparing for a Move of God

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24

Redeemed Christian Church is preparing for a move of God this “Pentecost” Sunday! So, how do you really prepare for a move of God? I am glad you asked. First, we must possess a sincere desire for change and want it to begin in self. Next, we must recognize that the change will not be done without supernatural intervention – Holy Spirit and Fire!
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26
Please note the four things Jesus spoke of concerning the coming of Holy Spirit, the third person in the Godhead:
1. Holy Spirit is a comforter – intercessor, counselor, advocate
2. Sent by The Father – dispatched, withdraw self, set fast
3. Teach all things – be a teacher, conduct oneself as a teacher, impart instruction, instill doctrine, enjoined, deliver didactic discourse
4. Bring all things to your remembrance – to remind quietly, suggest to the memory, put in mind, to be reminded, bring to (put in) remembrance

There are many breakthroughs that will not happen without a period of prayer and fasting! When fasting, remember to make it a time of sacrifice. Give up something that your body craves. There is no real sacrifice without cost.
